COMPETITION RULES

~        Performance time limit: The performance time limit for choirs is 15 minutes; a piano is available. The time limit for orchestras is 20 minutes. The time limit for dance ensembles is 20 minutes.

~        Choice of repertoire: The repertoire can be participant’s own choice, no compulsory songs.

~        Participation fee: The registration fee for one ensemble: 1 contest category is 200 EUR, each further contest category is 150 EUR. For participation in the festival without participation in the competition: 100 EUR. The registration fee is not paid back in the case of cancellation of the application.

~        Diplomas: Each ensemble will receive a diploma certifying the results. The jury may award
other special prizes; for instance for programme dramaturgy, voice production or original interpretation. Jury decisions are final, no appeals may be made.

~        Accommodation/board: The organizers reserve the right to arrange accommodation and board for the participating choirs within one of the offered packages. Each choir including the conductor, accompanying people and bus drivers shall pay their travel and accommodation expenses from the choir´s own resources.

According to the number of acquired points, the international jury will award

Diploma for participation               up to 14,99 points

Bronze certificate                              15 - 19,99 points

Silver certificate                                 20 - 24,99 points

Gold certificate                                  25 - 29,99 points

The organizer reserves the right to use video and sound records from the festival.

ACCOMMODATION AND BOARD:

he organizers reserve the right to arrange accommodation and board for the participating choirs within one of the offered packages. Each choir including the conductor, accompanying people and bus drivers shall pay their travel and accommodation expenses from the choir´s own sources.

The package price includes:

APPLICATION: 

Application deadline: 15th  April 2013

Applications can be sent from 1st January 2013 to 15th April 2013. The application must be filled in electronically - here: Application Form

After receiving the application form, each accepted participating group will be contacted by email and receive an official confirmation of participation.

The application shall be enclosed with the following:

• Complete application form
• Competition program (name of the composition, composer full name, length of the compositions)
• Sound record of the choir not older than 3 years (a CD or a tape)
• Choir, orchester and conductor curricula (10 lines)
• Choir,orchester and conductor photo
• 5 copies of score for competition works
• A copy of money order or bank transfer confirming payment for the festival fee.

IMPORTANT DATES:

~        15th April 2013 – deadline for sending in the application form

~        15^th June 2013 - deadline for the first payment for room and board - 50%  

~        15^th Jule 2013 - deadline for the final payment for room and board.
