A Capella Fide

A Capella Fide” began its work in 2022 under the direction of founding conductor Sinem Bayraktar. The choir is composed of middle school students aged 11–14 and renews its singers each year. It has performed in Fide Schools’ traditional “Fideliler Sahnede” concerts and participated in the Istanbul Biennial. In 2023, the choir received the Bronze Diploma at the Interkultur Sound Waves Linz competition. In 2024, it was awarded the Silver Diploma and the Grand Prize at the Fiestalonia Milenio World of Choirs competition. In 2025, at the “Fiestalonia Milenio Golden Voices of Montserrat” competition, the choir received the Honor Award from UNESCO’s partner, the European Association of Folklore Festivals, in recognition of its outstanding contributions to the development of cultural heritage. At the same competition, the choir also received a Gold Diploma, Silver Diploma, and Bronze Diploma. With its Grand Prize and Honor Award, an academic school from Türkiye achieved these distinctions with a children’s choir for the first time.
