Yonsei Music Academy Choir

Yonsei Music Academy Choiris an amateur ensemble composed of alumnae of the Women Executive Leadership Program at Yonsei University. United by a shared passion for music, the choir has sustained over 20 years of choral tradition.The ensemble presents regular concerts and benefit performances for organizations supporting people with disabilities, promoting cultural exchange and social contribution through music. In 2018, the choir received the Silver Prize and the Best Dressed Award at the Florence International Choir Festival. In 2019, it won the Gold Prize in the Senior Category at the Jakarta International Choir Festival. The Yonsei Music Academy Choir remains committed to sharing warmth, harmony, and inspiration through music.

Conductor / Leader
Ahn Woosung serves as the Director of the cultural academy “Classic Woldam” and as Music Director and Conductor of the Yonsei Music Academy Choir, where he leads choral and classical music initiatives with artistic vision and educational depth. He earned both his Master’s degree and the prestigious Konzertexamen from the University of Music Freiburg in Germany. His extensive European experience, including engagements with major opera houses and orchestras, has shaped his refined musical interpretation and leadership.He performed with the Bavarian State Opera’s Opera Studio in Munich and the Freiburg Opera, and collaborated with the Saarbrücken Radio Orchestra in broadcast performances and recordings. A prizewinner at several international competitions, he continues to pursue artistic excellence while guiding ensembles toward expressive and cohesive performances.
