Mixed choir Natanael is a church choir, which was founded in 2014 in Slovenska Bistrica, Slovenia. The choir actively participates in holly masses in their home town two to three times in a month and their singing is heard at many ceremonies such as baptisms, marriages or funerals. Singers of different ages sing in the choir (14 to 60 years old) and fait, love of music and friendship connect them all. They really enjoy singing rhythmically spiritual songs enriched with different instruments. They have added non-religious songs (especially Slovenian folk songs) to their considerable spiritual repertoire. In addition to regular annual and Christmas concerts, the choir also participates in competitions. They are most proud of their gold award at the competition in their region in 2017 and they also recieved the award for the most perspective choir. The choir's conductor is Rebeka Bračič.
Rebeka Bračič was born in town named Laško in Slovenija, where she attended her first piano lessons in elementary music school. The love of music and singing she gained from her family. In 2011 she graduated from Pedagogical faculty at the University in Maribor – Music, and after that she started to teach music at elemetary school. She has been conducted diferents singing groups for more that 15 years, but her speciallity are adult mixed choirs. Her choirs have been awarded silver and gold awards at the competitions in their region. Rebeka Bračič has been the choirmaster of Mixed choir Natanael since their establishment. Beside her conducting role she is also their pianist and organist at the holy masses.Back to the list of ensembles
