Caulfield Grammar School Choir

Caulfield Grammar Touring Choir, is made up of talented singers from Year’s 9 – 12 from both the Wheelers Hill and Caulfield campuses. Alongside the music we have carefully prepared, the choir is eager to share our story and showcase a diverse range of repertoire from both Australian composers and other international artists. This journey represents a valuable opportunity for our students to deepen their skills and experiences, all while staying true to the core vision, purpose, and values of Caulfield Grammar School. We look forward to the growth and connections this tour will bring, both musically and personally. Two weeks prior to departing Australia, our Chamber Choir was awarded First Place in the John Lamble Foundation Australasian Championship for Youth Choirs (19 Years & Under), held as part of the Sydney Choral Festival. This Choral Festival is a beacon of inspiration playing a pivotal role in Australia’s Arts Community. This is a moment of great pride for our choral program, and our students’ success is a testament to their dedication, discipline, and musical excellence. Our European Touring Choir is directed by Naomi Osborne (Head of Voice), and accompanied by Meredith Woinarski (Head of Keyboard) and Simon Walter (Caulfield Campus Head of Music).

Naomi Osborne

With over twenty years of experience in music and education Naomi studied Voice and Violin at the University of Melbourne and was fortunate to gain a scholarship to complete an Honours year at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Having performed with Scottish Opera, English National Opera, Opera Australia and Melbourne Opera, Naomi was giving the opportunity to play Liesl in The Sound of Music. She subsequently performed with many musical theatre companies including Disney, Frost, and The Production Company. Her experience as Associate Music Director on The Producers encouraged her to pursue further study in conducting at the University of Melbourne. Alongside performing, Naomi has always been passionate about teaching, holding positions at several schools and universities, in Melbourne and the UK. Naomi is currently the Head of Voice at Caulfield Grammar School and teaches postgraduate voice students online through Durham University in the UK.
