The Continuo Pardubice Choir was founded in 2004 and is regarded as one of the leading choirs in the Pardubice region. Since 2010, it has been conducted by choirmaster Lucie Gregorovič Fárová, who has continued the legacy of her grandfather, the respected conductor Vlastislav Novák. The choir’s repertoire is wide-ranging, encompassing classical works as well as compositions by contemporary composers across various musical styles. Each year, Continuo Pardubice presents several traditional concerts, including the popular May Concert, and its activities also include benefit performances and a series of Christmas concerts with orchestra or organ accompaniment in churches throughout the Czech Republic. The choir regularly takes part in competitions and cultural events at home and abroad, appearing at festivals such as IFAS in Pardubice, Otevírání studánek in Tři Studně, and Choralia Magna in Hradec Králové, and has toured internationally in Germany, Poland, and other European countries. In 2025, the choir was awarded second prize in Category A at the International Choir Competition in Zadar, Croatia.
