The choir of the Elementary Art School in Svätý Jur was founded in 2006. It is composed of students from the singing class as well as other students of the music department, with its membership changing from year to year. The choir is called Spážatá, and its repertoire includes arrangements of folk songs alongside original compositions by teacher Mgr. art. Marek Spusta and other Slovak and international composers. The ensemble regularly performs at concerts and events organized by the Elementary Art School and the city of Svätý Jur. In October 2015, it took part in the Bratislava Cantat II competition, where it was awarded a silver medal in its category. The choir is conducted by singing teacher Mgr. Ľubica Špačková and accompanied by Matúš Matiašovský, DiS. art., piano teacher at the Elementary Art School in Svätý Jur.
