Founded by Boriana Naydenova and currently conducted by Denitsa Kaburova, ‘In Sacris’ has quickly grown as one of the finest choirs of its kind. Usually it sings a cappela but when the music requires, it performs together with a symphony orchestra. The singers of ‘In Sacris’ are predominantly young people from different educational and professional backgrounds. They are united by their love for the ensemble singing and inspired by the great paragons of Christian chant . It is not simply a youth choir but a cultural center where many young people communicate through the language of music and share the feelings of the music they do. ‘In Sacris’ has performed in Italy, South Korea, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Denmark, Belgium, Greece, Serbia, and Georgia. Among its greatest achievements are the performance of "Matheus Passion" by J. S. Bach, Mozart's "Requiem" and selected pieces of baroque music.
Denitsa Kaburova graduated from the "Pancho Vladigerov" National Academy of Music in 2000, majoring in Choral Conducting.
