MgA. Ondřej Štefáček began singing in the Šumperk Children's Choir Motýli. He was introduced to solo singing by Mrs. Eva Bechyňová in Přibyslav. He continued his studies at the Prague Conservatory in the class of Prof. Jarmila Krásová and at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, in the class of Prof. Ivan Kusnjer. From 2002 to 2010 he was a member of the Prague Philharmonic Choir. He devoted himself to chamber singing in the ensembles Octopus Pragensis and Madrigal Praha. He is a founding member of the Martinů Voices chamber choir. He gained experience in other musical genres as a member of Bobby McFerrin's vocal ensemble, or as a vocalist on the nationwide tour of the Concert of Stars, which featured Peter Dvorský, Eva Urbanová, Helena Vondráčková and Karel Gott. Since 2010, he has been teaching solo and choral singing at the J. V. Stamice Elementary School off Arts in Havlíčkův Brod, where in 2013 he founded and still leads the girls' choir Prímadonky.
