The Suwon Women’s Choir, founded in 1993, has reached a significant milestone with its 30th regular concert held in 2025. Over the years, the choir has performed at numerous domestic and international events and invitation concerts, earning recognition for its exceptional achievements and its role as a leading amateur women’s choir in Suwon. The ensemble has garnered excellent results at various national and international choral festivals and competitions, and has appeared at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Korean Choral Symposium at the Seoul Arts Center, and the KBS Hall Festival. Through its high- quality performances, the choir has made a meaningful contribution to the cultural life of the Suwon region, also engaging in various social service activities. By participating in major domestic events as well as international tours and invitation performances, the Suwon Women’s Choir continues to share the beauty of Korean women’s choral music with audiences around the world.
